Your welcome for the ACLU link, but I didn't post the RoevBush.com link, must have been some other person worried about the potential loss of our Liberties. Yeah, I thought that Bush would have played it a little smarter, but after Ashcroft and his appointment to the Sect. of Interior, I think we are beginning to see what they are going to try and do. Actually, I've been thinking that this might be a good thing, in that they are hurting themselves right out the door, and creating adversaries in practically every corner of the activist world.
Four more years of Bush should be just about enough time for everyone to be demanding that their rights and liberties are secure from over-zealous government politicians and beauracrats. I just read an article somewhere that was by Howard Phillips and discussed the political swing towards the Democrats that began in the early 90's and compared Bush to a Jimmy Carter like anomaly in the cycle, with Bush being in a weaker position now than Carter was in then. I think that things will work out fairly well.
I think that instead of in the streets or being televised, this revolution will be web-based. The first cyber-revolution, peaceful and effective.
