MOVER :ECNC Higher on Investment & Stock Repurchase

Ridgeland, MS, JUL 12, 2002 (EventX/Knobias.com via COMTEX) -- Shares of eConnect (OTCBB: ECNC) are up sharply in the last week rising from $0.004 on 7/5/02 to its high today of $0.018, a 350% increase.
On Wednesday the Company issued a press release announcing that Pacific Nakon International has transferred $20,000,000 in asset-backed corporate bonds to eConnect for the purpose of aggressively developing the Asian marketplace for Bank Eyes Only eCashPad gaming and other business and personal applications.

In a press release today ECNC reported that it has begun a stock repurchase program. The repurchased shares may be used by the Company for general corporate purposes, or may be retired to Treasury.

Shares of ECNC are currently trading up 37.3% at $0.015 per share on heavy volume.
