Unfortunately I misread/misunderstood the article where it at first seemed to indicate that Madoff empire had 350 million shares. After my initial post, I reread the article section a couple of times and then sent a follow-up correction.

I would not be suprised if Madoff empire had some BCIT shares, but it appears this is may only be known by DTCC. Could be interesting if true, but at this time it remains unknown.

Madoff had zero shares of BCIT as his fund never bought or sold any shares in the last 13 years.

Based upon his liquidator's audit.
