I can sure validate what you said about news! A couple of weeks ago I sold out a position in BEE. Goldman issued an upgrade on BEE. I panicked and bought 1K at 1.50. It promptly fell back to I think 1.20 where you entered! What a lesson thank God on only one K. I then added 4K and another 4K at 1.31. Things worked out. BUT I will never again buy on a STOCK UPGRADE!!! Buying on dips and charting is really the best way to minimize exposure! IMHO LESSONS LEARNED, Don't hold over earnings! Don't buy on Stock up grades!
What great advice. I've found that I don't worry about trying during the first 30 to 45 minutes in the morning because nothing is settled. Most gaps close and market direction is not certain either. I also like buying late in the day as well. I like that because it allows me to sell on a gap up or it allows me to exit with out a round trip if things get ugly! What great advice!
