Krom: If the Drilling Campaign Proves up the NSAI #s and even doubles the NSAI #s, I think SNP takes the Prize. If the #s are Very Very Large, I think a U.S. Oil Major Makes a Play with the Help of the U.S. Government, SEC, Justice Department, Homeland Security and Any Congressional Committee that may join the Fray! Just like the Unocal Deal a Few Moons Ago. Remember CVX tight holed Obo-1 and ERHC's office got Raided.

Krom: My guesstimate for Oil drilling results for our 1st two wells:

Official Results: Press releases only from any of the Block 2 or Block 4 partners: The week of October 18th.

Unofficial results : Board Member Source contacts Etc: Week of October 4th.

Manipulation of results pro and con: Like those from Oily and the other stock manipulators Etc. Any time between Sep 14th thru Oct 17th.

Good Luck to all. That includes all Short timers and Long timer's alike.

Hello Krombacher,

New subject: When is the best estimate when we'll have solid drilling results in either Bomu or Kina or both?

I'd GUESS first week in October for block 2 and second week of October for block 4. I would think that these announcements would be only preliminary and a more detailed announcement would come within 30 to 45 days thereafter in sync with the EEZ auctions. Much success in the JDZ can only stir the pot for the EEZ. I would think the EEZ would be prepared to start auctions shortly after either of these two periods, depending on the success of each block. If the aroma is thick with the scent of oil, they might be able to capitalize on the timing of each result's announcement.

We've been told 60 days after completion. In the US we will be giving thanks towards the end of November over a fine turkey dinner. I suspect a good bit of that thanks will be directed towards the JDZ.

Krom... If it is a dry hole we will hear right away(within 3 weeks).....If there is oil we will hear by December. IMO

Krombacher, my opinion in response to your questions:

If the drilling results are good, we won't hear anything about them, at least not as erhe shareholders. Good results will mean a buyout (my guess still in the $2 - $3 range), before complete results are made public.

If the drilling results are not good, we'll hear about them soon after the share price takes it's annual year-end swoon. Ever look at a monthly chart? For 4 out of the last 5 years the pattern is clear. In that case, there will be another buying opportunity for those that want to bet on Sinopec continuing their JDZ exploration.
