#11110 RE: Frank Pembleton #11108

Just finished my post to TF when the ding dong goes off with this post. Thanks for the clarification on the pictures.

Well, I sold in May and went away. Too late to catch a top, but nowhere near the bottom. I expected PM's to pick up in August, but that didn't happen so I'm still sitting waiting for something to break considering all the events you clearly posted. I'll jump back in if we break and hold 414 POG, otherwise I'm always looking to short these puppies. I've never played energy so just brought it up to get your comment. Seems to me the same thing is happening there that there's no follow through from the commodity to the equities. Just looking for something to play until the election, after which it's a whole new ballgame.

Pretty snazzy bike! How many gears and how many of those do you use? I have 10 but only use a couple of the Highest as well as the lowest. I notice you don't have some of the options I have, like fenders. LOL I suppose that since you use it for exercise you don't care if you have those high friction, wide and nobby tires. I like my roadster tires, not quite as slick as racers and I like the bigger diameter wheels. I am jealous of that front fork with the shocks in it. Is that a back one under the crossbar? Of course if I sat on your bike that seat would be just like a thong on me and slip right up my ass. Reminds me of horseback riding a few weeks ago with my daughters. Last time I did it was in Jasper so it's been 20 years and I kept insisting that their saddle was too small. Of course you know their reply. :) My original spring seat gave out two years ago so I decided to try a new gel seat, but after two seasons it's worn out and they put little nobby things on the metal at the point to keep the foam and gel in place. I'm being very careful when I get on it now. Maybe I'll find a new one tomorrow. One more question. The angle of your picture makes it look like you have two handlebars and only the outer ones have the brakes on them, how does that work?

Time for bed. Just heard on CTV that crude just went over $50. Kitco won't update and hasn't since 4:05. Wonder if that means anything since this was options expiry date. I guess we'll see tomorrow.

Regards

Bob

re: "As for natural gas, yes I'm playing it a little-- you see, I've pulling my hair out trying to find stocks that are levered to oil, but the ones that I've found have already popped. My guess is that the contrarian play in energy is not the drillers, nor is it uranium, not coal either-- but natural gas. At $50 oil (if it sticks), gas should be trading at 1/6th the price-- I see upside."

I'll throw one of my ng flyers in the ring...CZE
According to this it is 95% gas.

Volume has picked up this month, the new management appears to have turned it around.
What got me into it a year or so a go was the idea the Velvet guys were involved. My take eventually it was the Velvet beancounters and not the oil/gas guys though. Ooops.
About double the shares now but they got rid of the Quest debt.

Nice pics, best time of year in AB.
