#5108 RE: AliAngel #5107

maybe you can explain how me warning people (also back in the days of RB) that this was a sham makes me a "slime"????........remember me also warning bucfan????

PS: if your brother is an Engineer, how could he not see that the E-Commander was total BS as a power solution???.....yet somehow other Engineers like me, PP, etc, could easily see at a distance it was a Rube-Goldberg contraption.....

100,000 Gallons per Hour???

ENERGY COMMANDER SYSTEM
The Energy Commander V

The EC V Unit Layout
Inlet: 4-6 inches
Flow: 65 PSI
Available HP: 67
Required HP: 39
Torque: 3950
pounds
Electric Output: 30 Kw
Overall Length: 50 inches
Cylinders: 48
Cylinder Size: 4 inch

Some approximate napkin calculations from the above cut-n-paste:

67 HP = 50KW
Efficiency (input fluid power vs output electrical power)=30/50 = 60%

Flow=Power/Pressure (flow is NOT measured in pressure, as stated above. Its volume/second!!)
65 PSI = 500000 Pascal
Flow=50000/500000=.1 cubic meter per sec, or 27 Gallons/s, or 100 THOUSAND GALLONS PER HOUR (almost 2.5 million gallons a day!!!!)

(Approximately)!!!! Anybody, feel free to correct my math if you see something I missed.....I rounded off a little, and think I got it right, but I am a little rusty with fluid calculations and conversions....
