NEWS out!!!Gregory Evans Teams Up With Assistant U.S. Attorney to Provide Continuing Education for Veterans

ATLANTA, GA -- (Marketwire) -- 09/10/09 -- World-renowned cyber security expert and CEO of LIGATT Security (PINKSHEETS: LGTT) Gregory Evans is a featured keynote speaker, alongside Assistant U.S. Attorney, Rodney D. Bullard, at the Third Annual ProNet International Inc. Continuing Education Conference. This conference will take place on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at the Crowne Plaza Perimeter Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. "What Profit a Man," an ethics course in which Evans will be discussing fraud, ethics and leadership, will begin at 12:45 P.M. on Thursday.

"I am very honored to have been invited to speak at such a prestigious event. Providing a helpful service to the public has always been at the forefront of my mind, so that is why I embraced the opportunity to speak with the invited insurance companies and regulators about the dangers, proactive and preventative measures as they pertain to identity theft, cyber crime and insurance fraud," says Evans.

Insurance fraud is any act committed with the intent to fraudulently obtain payment from an insurer. Fraudulent claims account for a significant portion of all claims received by insurers. Types of insurance, such as identity theft, fraud are very diverse, and occur in all areas of insurance. Insurance crimes also range in severity, from slightly exaggerating claims to deliberately causing accidents or damage. Fraudulent activities and any other insurance-related cyber crimes also affect the lives of innocent people, both directly through accidental or purposeful injury or damage, and indirectly as these crimes cause insurance premiums to be higher. Insurance fraud poses a very significant problem, and governments and other organizations are making efforts to deter such activities.

Several major insurance companies including but not limited to Sedgwick CMS, Maxum Indemnity, RenRe Insurance, and Cotton States Insurance have confirmed attendance at this year's conference. "We aren't hosting this conference for profit, but rather to raise money for ProNet's scholarship fund. We are trying to get business professionals together to provide educational opportunities and to give back to veterans and their children who are coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan," says Andrew Abrams, Marketing Director for ProNet International, Inc.
