He's figuring a 100 for 1 split and not a 1 for 100 split.

Dividing your shares by 100 is the same as multiplying the A/S by 100. It shouldn't be too hard to understand. Management doesn't have to issue all of those share to dilute you into oblivion, only a fraction will do the job.
