They were thinking that they wanted to drive the share price down!
Why? So the shorts could cover on the cheap and they would stay in the good graces of the "Big Money" players, ultimately getting uplisted to the Nasdaq quicker. Sucks for us, good for them. I guess we know where we stand now - Somewhere just above pond scum.

Allow the shorts to cover, repurchase more shares to retire...

your guess is as good as mine. What troubles me, like I have

stated before, is that with a 1-for-100 reverse split they

allowed for the current share price to drop all the way to

0.04 and still meat the $4 nasdaq requirement. I sold 75%

of my holdings yesterday by putting an order in to sell at

0.155 anticipating the huge puking of shares. The order did

not get filled till around 10:30am though. Black friday was

provoked/set off by SPNG, but this black tuesday certainly

was and people are rightfully concerned.

Still long and strong but with a much more disposable amount

for now just to keep my foot in the door so to speak.

Yes, they knew what would happen, but ALL public companies are built on the broken backs of common shareholders ...imo... We are at the bottom of the food chain and greed and vision through rose colored glasses wind up hurting us more than neccessary ... I've learned to start walking away, and running if need be, at the mention of Reverse Split...This could have been a sweet, sweet deal for us going forward if they had the "patience" we all preach to release the 10K , explain the share structure, and give timing guidance on the uplist to The NASDAQ...we were looking at a .25-1.00 PPS within a few days ...imo...they broke it for the small guy, but many got out with nice gains...May get back in, maybe after this horrendous R/S ...gl
