Exactly as I said this tactic is very common. It's just testing the waters while turning up the heat. The point is puts both parties in a position to be up front with shareholders.
If TBIRD balks, Beneficial will call them out in front of their shareholders. In the end it will lead to a mutually benefical agreement.
