#17448 RE: frogdreaming #17447

frog....What are you implying by this statement? "If there was legitimate interest in the patents among the potential bidders, DNAP's position on the subject would be immaterial. The market would be aware of the interest and the stock price would reflect it." Are you saying that if there was a bidder #1, then bidders #'s 2,3 & 4 would know all about this? Wouldn't a prudent company seek to keep quite confidential any possible/potential dealings with DNAP? In addition, if and/or until there was a material public news release on any deal/potential deal with DNAP, how do you propose this would affect share price? Are you implying that certain entities out there would be trading on material non-publically released inside information? How would you know about these things and insider trading in general? Just asking.

Frog - DNAP's strategy is irrelavent...? On the contrary... It's at the core of the issue.

Are you telling me that you...as the proud owner of some exciting and historically significant and potentially valuable IP...do not have ANY choice if some "bidder" happens to drop by and makes an offer on your IP...?

Would YOUR position on the matter be...immaterial?

I don't think so....

Knowing that what you have may be soooo valuable...I'm confident you would have a strategy of some kind...and wouldn't sell to the first bidder...and if you perceive your IP to be revolutionary, scientifically validated and producing discoveries that are "first of it's kind", your strategy may even be...to not sell at all...

Whether you or I know about or understand DNAP's strategy about their patents...you can safely bet they have one firmly built into their business plans.

I do like what you said about the genome and DNA. "To some degree every minute variation in every individuals genome is by definition an 'Ancestry Indicator'. They will all have value in helping to understand the biological machine. All research in this field has the potential for 'value', scientific, cultural, medical etc."

I would even postulate that "to EVERY degree..." DNA reflects the continuity of Life as it constantly adapts to it's unique surroundings..and this adaptation to specific environments can now be tracked and traced in the DNA...

As far as your last comment: "To expect it all to have economic value, however, at this point requires a leap of faith. It is not supported by any reasonable evidence."

First is the placing of economic value based on....something. Second, that this "something" is..."evidence" of some kind (or lack thereof).

You say "leap of faith". That clearly defines your perspective that DNAP may be a large risk and that the "evidence" may be slim to none.

I say "sufficient indepth Due Dilligence (and a learning curve for the science)...". Those tools give me confidence that the molecular genetics that DNAP has is quite real, reinforced by DNAP's "first of a kind" genomic discoveries and products, their Moffitt research partnership..and of course...DNAP's patents (patent-pendings).

All this seems to be a preponderance of "evidence" that doesn't need a "leap of faith"...just patience.

Given my my DD "evidence", I see DNAP's risk getting less and less and the rewards getting more potential. Maybe even outrageous rewards...lol!

The question is the time frame... It's no longer if...but when? And since I know DNAP is still a risky penny stock, I've planned to let my pennies ride while the risks get less and less.

So...no worries, mate! What the heck...they are just...pennies...lol!

Besides, if anyone is strictly using "leap of faith" as a major investment strategy instead of using good old solid DD... Ouch!

Thanks for your thoughts on the ancestry of DNA...

Take care,

Robert
