LONDON (Dow Jones)--Addax Petroleum (AXC.LN) said Friday it has requested that
the admission of its common shares to the UKLA Official List and the London Stock
Exchange be cancelled, both with effect from Oct. 5.

MAIN FACTS:

-To delist its common shares from Toronto Stock Exchange on same date.

-Delisting based on acquisition of Addax Petroleum by Mirror Lake Oil and Gas
Company Ltd.
