VGPR (.004) Vega to Drop NFI and Become Vega Biofuels, Inc.

LONDON, Sept. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VEGA PROMOTIONAL SYSTEMS, INC. (Pink Sheets: VGPR) today provided clarification on the name of its operating entity.


Vega recently announced that it had acquired Natural Fuels Industries (NFI) and made the Montana company a wholly owned subsidiary of Vega. The Company's plan was to run its alternative energy business through the NFI subsidiary and announced plans to change the corporation's name to Natural Fuels Industries. However, subsequent to the acquisition of NFI, Vega discovered a company with the same name and in the same industry. In addition to the name issue, the Company was concerned about a potential conflict of interest with the principals of NFI. Therefore, the Company has decided to drop the subsidiary NFI and run all energy related business through the parent company. As a result, the Company has now filed the necessary documentation to change its legal name to Vega Biofuels, Inc.


With interest in the Company's alternative energy projects expanding at a fast pace, it was important to clarify the name of the operating entity and the status of the relationship with NFI. The recently announced Green Valley Project, an alternative energy project in western Indiana, the planned pellet fuel plant in Georgia, and all future business of the Company will be handled through Vega Biofuels, Inc.
