The point is you posted something that could be construed to give precise timing on an event. Saying.... news over the next few days would be one thing, but saying "news before lunch", is just too close for comfort. If I were ESR and I heard that, I would cringe.
It's no wonder I have been finding it harder to get a hold of ESR lately, because he is probably tired of fools calling him up with BS questions and then posting BS interpretations of the information on the board. At least I have been concise and quick with my questions and then fair with the information I have posted.
Also, he hasn't given me any direct information other than what's already out there. He's just helped me piece everything together and I have been speaking to him for a couple of months on and off now.
I should have known the "news before lunch" was total BS, purely on the basis that he's been as open with me as I would expect he would have been with anybody else, and the most he's told me with regard to the timing of a PR is "sooner than you think" (last Thursday) and "early August" (in July).
