Yes, it will be fun Strategyone. We are about 15-20 days away from leaks-first indications on what blocks 2 and 4 are going to show.

Strategyone...No real strategy needed to figure this one out. Allow me to assist and build a better foundation for your chosen board name.

You begin your post with:

"Mark, we all would like to hear some good news...just don't tell the company to PR it, LOL!

Marks "tease" on the board (no other reason to make such a post) is going to be all about a deal based on his prior posts and his recent buying activity. He's heard of a deal, posted numerous times about a deal and when told he is misleading investors by his excitment with drilling he posted this up:

http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=40917867

Basically, Mark and Oilphant are on the same track. Mark is busy buying shares and posting about drilling all while he's hearing "deal" as demonstrated by his post.

While your comments/strategy have this figured out in the most recent PR:

"The reality of it is that nothing new on a substantial level was revealed that most shareholders and even people watching in this neck of the woods didn't already know about."

....you don't have it figured out that promoting of a company is best handled by experts in this area. A notable PR/IR firm that specializes in this very business was in talks with ERHC and ERHC decided they didn't need them. Them: check out the co names that utilize this firm.

http://enercominc.com/main.html

A true strategist would understand that a company renowned for their promoting and building......with a list of clients that are braggable.......could certainly do better than ERHC managment. A strategist should be able to figure out that a small co which has one part time employee with any oil industry involvement can't properly promote an oil comany. This is what Enercom does for a business....a thriving business.

But...think one step further. ERHC turned a potential contract down BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T NEED THEM. Now, refer back to Oilphant and Marks posts.

You really wouldn't want to have a secretary plumb your bathroom, would you????

Am I upset that ERHC elected not to take on a company that could truely promote ERHC? No.....because their comment of not needed.....puts another big dot in front of us that I would expect an elementary strategist to comprehend.

So...what was said in the PR that didn't sit too well with investors????

Here's a few possible excerpts:

"It is remarkable that exploration in the JDZ is currently being driven by ERHC's technical partners."

Comment: Remarkable??? Didn't every single investor expect this to occur? Isn't that what operators do?

"We are therefore a premier player in the region where our role has historically been and continues to be fundamental."

Comment: Fundamental??? That doesn't exactly paint a bright picture to any "waiting to get in" monies.

"The start of exploratory drilling in the Blocks is the third step in a five step process towards realizing the Company's assets in those Blocks. We are therefore more than halfway there already!"

Comment: Halfway there. Started in 2001....it is now 2009.....half way mark. Add 8 years on to 2009 in order to realize our assets and its 2017. Hardly a way to promote the company...would you say?

"As you can imagine, each step takes considerable expertise and the resulting production, if in commercial quantities, may considerably enhance shareholder value."

Comment: Hmmm...IF...IF...IF oil is found in commercial quantities (don't we and all investors know this is a risk when we purchase the stock?) So, if oil IS IS IS found in commerical quantities...it "MAY" enhance our value??????

"No guarantees can be given at this stage that there will be production in commercial quantities."

Comment: Message that shareholders are undertaking a huge risk in investing in ERHC. Not a good promoting statement. This is something you find buried in 10K's alongside with ongoing risk issues, govermental investigations, business climates that can change etc....

"A commercial oil discovery is certainly the desired outcome."

Comment: Belittling the competence of shareholders doesn't go over all that well. Of course a commercial oil discovery is desired.

"Whether one prospect proves to be a major or
modest discovery is less important than what we learn about prospectivity throughout the wells being drilled. While it may be tempting to score each individual well as pass/fail, this is not how exploration is done."

Comment: More talk on risk. Interesting. Risk risk risk. Hmmm...suppose they will accept something to mitigate all this risk? Markgovals thinks so. Oilphant has been posting this all along. You don't promote something by speaking of all the risks involved. That is nonsense....and the market picked up on that nonsense. 10K's do this dirty talk...every single year.

"Analyzing drilling results and incorporating them into the relevant geologic and fluid models takes time. Moving from field appraisal and development and onto production takes time. There are no shortcuts. As has been the case in the past, we will continue to work diligently at it all."

Comment: More warnings. Time time time. Leaves the reader wondering if it'll ever get done?

"There are certainly exciting times ahead but please be cautious about putting undue reliance on rumors and speculation in the coming months as these important processes are undertaken."

Comment: More warnings. Why? Real promoters don't focus on risks and warn shareholders/potential new shareholders.

If you chose not to accept these comments you may want to reflect on the market cap of this company that lost over $100 million dollars in value right AFTER the co posted up their PR.

Its really rather simple. The co (IMHO) is justifying a take out despite ongoing drilling. They've cleaned themselves up in preparation for same (going back years in filings and re-doing some of them 4 times before getting them right). Sweeping....now explaining all the risks in going forward.

JCG saw it....and you can bet SEO saw it.....and probably while sitting at the same table as JCG.

Again, I'm not in the school that cares about ERHC promoting themselves. It doesn't matter. They had an opportunity to do so and elected not to. That was for a reason....one that Mark will likely be posting on in the coming days.....and Oilphant has posted on for some time.
