Rich... are you insinuating that the town committee would stall the progress of Laidlaw as long as they could? Also, who is on this committee besides those that stand to profit from Laidlaw's failure?

BTW, we're also waiting for the explanation of why no one was interested in the mill site until Laidlaw came to town.
