That was pretty eloquent Dave. But, imo, totally off the mark as far as the metaphor and analogy goes.

If you have a lake filled with indigenous species, like trout, bass, etc and someone dumps a few piranhas or lampreys in it, wouldn't you want to get rid of them?

If they're harming the health of the lake and the people who enjoy the lake are suffering due the exploitation of the native species, people will generally take issue with it.

I'm happy that you took the time to compose a metaphor about fish. Why, may I humbly ask, haven't you taken the time to answer my two PM's about why you banned me from the SEC8 board?

Apparently my sin was replying to a poster who was asking for an example(s) of a board controlled by bashers. Should I have ignored the poster? Sincere Q.

As we've seen on this board, people we're curious about the board(s) obviously populated with organized pumpers. Is that OT?

In a nutshell, Group A complains about alleged organized "pumping" by Group B. Group B complains about alleged organized "bashing" by Group A. The true underlying basis to both sets of complaints is the subjective content of the other posts; we don't like it and don't think it should be allowed, so let's try and manufacture a rationale by which the content we object to can be stopped. The objectors tend to focus on whatever topic or user(s) are in their sights at the moment, to the exclusion of all else. Tomorrow it'll be something else, and the next day someone else. Meanwhile, the river flows and 99.9% of the fish are oblivious to it.

I would say 85% of the fish are PO'd; the rest unaware. The SAME baseless lies presented as truth have been coming from certain groups for YEARS. This is not something that will change today or tomorrow or next week. The cliche is true. If you say something long enough, people will actually begin to believe it. By your inaction or willful ignorance, iHub seems complicit.

lol, you put a lot of thought into that post.

but is still does not solve the problem going on here - there is an organized gang manipulating the boards ...

I don't know of any basher fish group on ihub who go from board to board trying to pump up the board count or influence people not to buy the stock
