h13, if the science is as good as we think it is the money will come! Both Cotara and Bavi are near the end of phase II. That is when many biotechs partner. That is often an inflection point where the stock price rises dramatically. Meanwhile we just have to wait. I personally think that September and October will be very good months for PPHM.
1. I expect the Duke/Haynes report will be published either online or in hard copy in the next 2 months.
2. I expect updates from the breast and lung cancer trials. I expect this will be good news...I am interested that several people have heard particularly good references to the lung trial...we will soon know if these rumours were true. If it is also true that PPHM would then start a phase II/III trial in lung cancer in November or December that would really increase their leverage in partnerhip talks in Bavi cancer!
3. I would not be at all surprised to hear that AVID had some big new contracts...their revenues have increased from 2 to 6 to 13 millions over the past few years. That is very good indeed. I expect the revenues will exceed $20 million next year...maybe by a lot!
4. Could there be a COTARA partnership announced in the next few months? Yes. Do any of us know about this now? No. That is the way it should be.
We just have to wait. That is the way it is in the biotech sector. However if we are correct about the science the payoff will be huge! Good luck to all longs!
