spree, I'm alarmed, but not by the 14 number.

I'm alarmed because if it turns out to be the opposite (Kerry by say 5%) the last couple of weeks of October, I wouldn't dismiss the possibility the admin will do one or more of the following:

1) pull bin-laden out of a hat,
2) phony up some new terrorist incident
3) postpone or cancel the election based on (2), above
4) manipulate the voting and or vote-counting process as they did last time and get a 5-4 Supreme Court majority to endorse yet another electoral coup.

The reason I think the above are possible is because this admin has committed crimes for which they might be held accountable once they are out of power and can no longer keep a lid on them.
