#33787 RE: LG #33783

I've never been accused of being a shrinking violet.

What I am impressed by ? Intelligence is fairly high on the list, although I recognize it has limits in terms of value for its own sake, rather than in "if" or "how" it is applied. I think that applies in reference to P2K, too, in my consideration of whether or not I would ever vote for him to be on the board. Character matters far more than intelligence, even if it isn't as conducive to entertainment value in debate. Patience and persistence are way up there, too, and I would say, as a part of character. Success ? It depends on success in what, how it was gained, and at what cost.

I will never respect those who work by taking profit from the destruction of larger value, rather than from creation or new or expansion of existing value. I value competition and classify those who try to limit competition with those in the prior line.

I value positive contribution. I have fairly simple values, and see and understand how values matter. I'm not confused about how values tend to be revealed by choices people make. I tend to enable people in making choices, and tend to hold them responsible for the choices they make. I'm not confused about the value of association between people who have similar value sets... whether they have the right ones or not.

Anything else ?
