a little quote for you to think about:

"The optimist sees opportunity in every danger; the pessimist sees danger in every opportunity." Winston Churchill

i dont share your (pessimistic) comments. i've worked in the oilfield and can tell you without question, that a production facility producing 50,000 bbl's of crude oil per day can be operated with 10 employees also. you have to remember, this is a production process facility. if production can be accomplished efficiently with less than 10, great! keeps production costs down. thats and ada-boy for the management and whats the downside to that? ever hear of the term "automation?" most production facilities are completely automated and operators are now also trained as the mechanics who service the equipment. they do have day rate contractors come in from time to time, but the general day to day is done by the operator.

as for the 5bn a/s, so what? if these shares can be used to grow, whats the downside? now if it were say....10bn or higher...i'd question the need.

as for the legal issues....c'mon man READ! and learn to read between the lines. this is NOTHING more than for each entity to focus on a position and the suit is nothing more than a vehicle to establish "we're serious about our position."

i say "if you are confident in your dd, stick with it and buy cheap (or cheaper) chips while you can." also "if you are NOT confident in your dd, dump the stock and move on."

as for the final business about the pr. do you buy (or buy more) stock based purely on pr's? if so, i'd recommend you rethink your dd. yeah, i'd like for the company leadership to do some things different (such as ungag the ta and communicate more about the progress and their "position" in the lawsuit and such, report on production figures....and a few more) but i think this will all come about as the company GROWS.
