Some people simply have it wrong there. Competition is not a bad thing, it's necessary thing. You certainly wouldn't have as many deals if the cell phone business was only Verizon and At&T!
Netflix or BBI failing wouldn't be a good thing for anyone. You have a million cable channels and the networks have had to adjust to that, and they have.
Google has gotten a bit old, we all get "used" to things and like to try out "new" things like Bing. I am not sure that all the hype over Google is worth it, I mean I think it's a bit over done. Google/Bing/Altavista/Yahoo/Amazon whatever, little difference to me, more preferential than anything. I find myself using Bing most of the time, I like it, but then maybe just cause it's new and I'm tired of seeing "google".
I may or may not try Netflix one day. I may use them both at the same time, I don't know. But there's certainly room for both. As there's room for multitude of search engines and cell phone companies and etc.
Competition is healthy and necessary!
