The true float has dried up and the MMs know it...that is why they didn't move the price an inch yesterday as to not cause huge volume changes due to the air share float which they fear could be questioned by SEC if they are watching things. Very possible this could continue today depending on when those FTDs are covered and their extent. The SHO FTDs have nothing to do with the problematic air shares though.
Jamsta: Walking down the price to kill buying, to kill momentum of good news, etc. People say the PRs are worthless and don't do anything. The ONLY reason the major PRs have not dramatically increased the PPS is because every time they hit, you can sit back and watch the MMs walk down the price and kill momentum. It has NOTHING to do with the PRs...they are great. We can only sit back and hope the guillotine falls quickly.
