HIV is a different matter. It's difficult to assess the current sense of urgency within the NIH. For any indication (HIV, HERPES, Influenza, etc) I think we are still talking 2 to 3 years from filing the IND before commercial use. Of course, that changes with urgency and need. Emergency use can speed the process.

Still, we are not talking about 3 years before NNVC is revenue producing. It could be as soon as next month, Christmas or Q1 2010. For sure, and with certainty, a license deal will be struck with some pharma by the start of Phase 1 clinical trials. There must be half a dozen pharmas waiting for tox studies to complete and that should be no later than Q1 2010 and might happen as soon as Q4 2009.
