No-one can answer that except EI concerning the VLC license. Personally, I think if it was a dead deal, we would have heard something. That's what makes me think that they are in negotiations. It's after the set time period for selling products after a license expires, so it would be against the VLC rules (per the filing) to advertise their products. IF it was dead, I still believe that EI would say so..
So again, I believe they're in negotiations. The VLC is their 'gravy', so I just don't see them letting it go by the wayside.
Just remember that rumors are hearsay. One has to take them with a grain of salt until we hear the facts, either way, from the company. :)
