The Haynes article may not make the August issue, but as Jazz pointed out, there are 10 HIV related articles posted on the Nature Medicine website (listed as advance online publication)which have not yet been published in the mag. One dates back to May 2009. That leads me to believe that an HIV issue is forthcoming SOON. Of course SOON is in the PPHM definition of SOON, meaning hopefully in our lifetime.

how do we know when it was submited?

I think the May date was just the date of the Chavi website saying it was submited, did they give a date when it was actually submited?

For pphm mgmt to say look for it around mid year suggests they know when it was submited and how long it takes.

Since they had the virus article in Nature earlier this year, I would imagine they know how long it takes.
