Guys, it's all about the convenience...no separate soap, no bucket required, just a spong and hose. I tried it on my cars and it was satisafactory. Didn't get as much suds as the commercial shows and implies, but it did an overall good job. I was pleased, but certainly not elated. Whether it has a higher value over the traditional liquid soap and sponge is personal preference. It's certainly not a dud as the Philly news anchor confirmed.

Have a good positive day in every aspect.

SPNG believer and inverstor.

Since when is it $14? It might be listed that price, but there is absolutely no reason anyone would have to pay that. Stores sell em for 9.99 and you can get the triple order for 20 dollars off the website. period. That adds up to half the cost you mentioned.

If you want your car to have an extended life, washing is important. It might be as important as oil, but it matters. The car wash sponge will also not be dipped into a buck with grit and dirt in it. All the dirt in the bucket you use acts as an abrasive to making scratches to the cars surface. As for the expense, as one post stated, "convenience". When it is simple and easy to do, you do it. when it's a project you do it less.
