TD's, volumn on the quote page was also out of wack for about 45 minutes this morning, that would jump and return to a previous spot

Do you think it could have to do with Flash trading? I doubt it but you never know, thousands of trades that are made then canceled in miliseconds?
Interesting day, Yesterday the volume went down from the breakout day, but we were lucky to close at the same price, that was a good sign I think. Today is odd, low volume, but not much price fluctuation.
What is a 911 trade? I can't find a definition on the web.

Gail, I too always see this with TDA charts. I see a white bar (a spike) like huge volume, and then shortly after it settles down into the actual traded volume. Very strange, but I've gotten used to it. Not sure the reason it acts that way.
