confused - I'm afraid I inferred your meaning incorrectly. I thought the point you were making is that the other 80% of the x86 server market was servers with more than 4 CPUs, and that sounded very wrong to me. Single CPU servers is more plausible. Paul
I would support that with one point in time. I run a 16 person business with 8 computer users interfaced to a 3GB database that uses a 800MHz Xeon over 100Mb e-net and our CPU useage is less than 10%. I considered getting a second processor which "may" increase availability, but I can't see how. Now, what could I do with a dual 3GHz system that I can't with this one?
