There really is a market here. Nighttime waking insomnia is common.
On the downside, Zaleplon has similar properties. And Zolipmist (a nasal spray of zolpidem) could be used the same way as it is also fast acting, though it's label was based on full strength so you would have to semi-spray it. And many end up taking the standard (cheap) drug before going to sleep "just in case".
Regardless, I doubt any of this will matters. The stock will pop nicely and an FDA approval. There is no law that says you have to hold on then.
Hell, even GTCB was a 5 bagger, and that drug had nearly no market.
