Thanks Mark. It looks like the JDA is finally getting to the timeline which I thought was accurate a couple of months ago. It looks like they might beat my estimated spud date by a week or so, we'll see.

Imagine how surprised and pleased they will be to find out that they've already struck oil!! What a great advertisement for the auctioning off of the next blocks! LOL

Maybe the oil they struck was a tanker heading across the ocean, must be getting pretty crowded out there with all the drilling going on. :<)

I assume by deployed, you mean anchored and ready to begin work?? Amazing how the Sedco can be at 2000 ft and have not arrived at the JDZ at the same time. I imagine Oily has some 'splainin to do.

markgovols, any update from the JDA regarding their inspection of the Sedco rig or if it arrived in the JDA block 2 last weekend?

I am more curious about the block 3 speculation from several weeks ago though. Anything new you can share?
