like u say every transaction is a buy and a sell. if a seller intitiates the trade it he fills the waiting bid and it is consider a sell. if the buyer initiates the trade he meets the ask thus shows as a buy. imo it should really just show where the transaction occured ie. bid or ask instead of sell or buy.
