Healthcare socialism: I am already planning on cutting way back on my hours so no increased taxes. No real reason to kill my self taking care of patients. People just aren't that grateful for the extra effort. I suspect other MD's may have that feeling. Hopefully the philipino docs will pick up the slack. That won't effect me as I will know who to go to for care. Good Luck to the rest of the general public.

Health care plan maybe consists of a half assed compromise which at least does not write off a substantial part of the population. Third world country events occur in the USA for the have nots in healthcare and elsewhere.
And to run up the deficit like US has done under republican presidents is ludicrous as well whilst cutting taxes for big earners both private and companies. has not increased wealth and has increased burden for future generations.
What next? Inflation as a means to cut average US debt?
