Were there any issues with the dirt floor at Resistol Arena? BloodKnuckles that did the Cowtown Beatdown MMA show at the Fort Worth Stockyards on a dirt rodeo floor and the fighters, refs, media, coaches, etc....had to walk through the dirt.
Did they do something to prevent this?
I was at UFC 100 during the weekend of the mano a mano event, but can't wait until the next Mano a Mano or AOW show......
Although, I would like to see one sooner, October would be better than September in my opinion.. UFC 103 could create conflicts..
Let's hope the crowd doubles!
BTW, I live in Mesquite and I saw absolutely no advertsing for the event whatsoever. (although I did see a writeup in the Mesquite paper after the fact)
My kids go to one of only a couple BJJ gyms in Mesquite and I didn't see any marketing info posted or handed out.
I'd love to see some better advertising....a billboard right at 635 and Scyene would do wonders for the show...IMO
