the ignore button will only prevent a poster from being able to send you any private messages. You will still see his public posts...it is up to you to simply do as if you don't see them and ignore the person you wish to ignore...
really simple, I am ignoring about 30% of the posters here...as 3 out of 10 have nothing important to say that could change my mind about this company...and one just got put in the penalty box, so that's one less for me to bother about..LOL
