#162438 RE: makesumgravy #162436

All you have to do to confirm that statement is look at the disaster facing the states, counties, and cities. Taxpayers are being fleeced to provide jobs and extremely generous benefits for state county and city employees. The good news is people are finally beginning to educate themselves on the issue. "Healthcare reform" will just shed more light on the discrepancy.

Also, take a look at the unemployment data, while private sector companies struggle in the free market, the public sector enjoys minimal exposure...how ironic that the private sector supports such unbridled greed. This too is coming to an end as we grapple with deficits at the state level. Deficits that will persist and as usual, will be dealt with by raising taxes and bond issuance instead of reduced spending......that's "shared sacrifice".
