VVV. Thank you for your response. I would love to see the financial breakdown of CPRK's costs especially as it relates to productions costs. If its somewhere on ihub please point me in the direction if you wouldn't mind.
Regarding economies of scale. Well I don't have much time to break it down for you....but if you ever reviewed business cases such as Home Depot or a Walmart you see that these boys can play the cost/price game if they need to. Either by reducing their directs or by simply reducing their margins on the end product. "Lower prices, ya we can go lower" "How low do you wanna go and by the way for how long"? We've got cash, we can wait out the storm.
Regarding RIO buying CPRK.....ya I have my doubts but that is MY OPINION. If RIO did have interest in this claim, why wouldn't they have purchased this several years back? Maybe when WUCC was in shambles? Before you say, "Well the claims were tied up and RIO didn't have access" Remember, CASH is KING. If they wanted it bad enough, they would find a way to get it. Money Talks... IMO
Over the last ten years what has happened to the local mom and pop grocery stores? Locally owned lumber stores? Haven't they all dried up over the years? Why is this? However, their have been those small stores that have been able to survive by being quick and nimble, bringing value to their customers, (the type of value the "big boys" lack) allowing to maintain a small premium, and maintain that SELECT customer base....Different game when you are moving a commodity...price, price, price.....and utilizing bartering, happens all time in this biz, cash outlay..... mimimized...
Finally, as I've mentioned in the past this is a very capital intense business. Technology DRIVEN, VOLUME BUYING Driven. What happens when you buy on volume? Walmart or HD should give you an idea..Save Money Live Better????.....little guys out, big guys in. Its a tough game, captialistic, but it is what it is.
