In my brain MS probably had the "splintered off" ruling in their head.. and Office would proliferate onto other O/Ss namely Linux... but no such beast happened.
China can push what they want. Maybe in the future something good will come out of it.
No idea how Foghorn Leghorn will do for MS but I do believe their days of printing money are numbered. Seriously, I think something big is brewing. Not an OLD v. NEW IBM type "big". Something much much bigger - like a Nokia of old selling rubber boots to the new selling cell phones. That big. Hey they have a massive warchest and can do absolutely anything. My thoughts anyways...
Anyahoo, well the only thing I have to worry about in the future will not be language but life and death - namely how my Cayman // Caribbean home will survive a hurricane.
(Though somehow I think we are saying the same thing LOL! ;-)
