hay bud i just went out to my garage and checked the pool table.

the felt reacted a little different in the spot i cleaned. i really looked at it and what it did was lift the fibers up which in turn slowed the ball down a little bit. the color of the felt did not change. i think if 10 people walked in my garage and looked at the pool table none of them would have notiiced. of course most of my friends are always drunk so they might not be the best example. i could tell where the demonstration was because i new what went on so my eyes where right on it. what winning colours did was i believe cleaned that part of the cloth to it's original state. i have a medium cloth. not the cheapest ,but not the most expensive. the cloth is around 3 years old i would say. see the oils from our skin plus the dirt and chalk way down the fibers which makes the balls roll faster i believe. what i did was i kept rubbing my hands on the cleaned spot. then i took baby powder and rubbed it into my hands. i took my hands again and rubbed it all along the spot. i took some of the pool balls again and kept rolling them back and forth threw the cleaned area. baby powder and oils from my skin helped. if you are a very good pool shot and if you new my table you might say it seems a little slow in that corner. i think after 10-20 games it would be right back to normal. i still cant believe the oil base paint came off.
