Probably both right:-)
Intel can announce at IDF, and then ship in early October which is only three weeks away... making both dates "right". The thing about the digitimes rumor that concerned me more was the 1.6Ghz top speed. A year more of engineering and an extra 2 metal layers, and only 7% improvement in speed? The 1.7Ghz with 14% speed improvement is still pretty anemic.
