PR-PM did sign Criminal Protective Order that orders him not to come within 100 yards of the defendant. This order is not Domestic Violence, the case will be tried like a regular assault case. or so it seems. Anyone can pull the docket report for case 09HM03796 from Harbor Court in Newport Beach, Ca. Here is a synopsis:
6/25/09- Attorney Thomas Edward made appearance for PM , PM not at court. Attorney request continuance, as usual per PM. Defendant waives rights to be arraigned today. PM ordered to appear on 7/2/09.

7/2/09- PM shows up without new attorney, or ANY attorney. Another PM tactic. Arraignment continued to 7/16/09 at 8:30 department H12. PM's excuse- he needs to retain private counsel. PM waives statutory time for Arraignment. PM ordered to comply with all terms of Protective Order.
CRIMINAL PROTECTIVE ORDER SIGNED BY PM, SERVED ON DEFENDANT, AND FILED. This is done in the courtroom.

Defendant ordered to return on 7/16/09.
Protective Order faxed to Protective Order Registry.

We shall see whether PM shows up on Thursday. I will put Hop-On shares up with a 20 to 1 odds that PM uses a "medical emergency" to keep him from court. PM has used this ploy before in other cases. The DA will be notified, as well as the judge, should PM attempt to do this. Let's hope PM does not have any "family emergencies" before Thursday.

I have heard rumors that one of the various attorneys PM uses seems to have medical emergencies coinciding with some of her cases in the past? Does anyone think this is a coincidence?

In any event, at SOME POINT, PM will need to make a plea..... The shareholders are making a plea to the company now- Put out a press release explaining how Hop-On is going to continue considering these horrible charges Hop-On's CEO has been charged with. Public companies usually acknowledge the criminal issues their CEO has by making him resign or???? Hop-On is not looking out for it's sharehloders by allowing a Convicted Felon on Federal Probation who is charged with a new crime, CHILD ABUSE, no less, to stay as the CEO. PM, it is your duty to resign, deal with your personal criminal matters on your time, not Hop-On's. IMO.
