#4950 RE: foozen #4944

Chucks been operating under the build bridges rather than burn them mentality..because once all this gets sorted out all the smaller orgs will still have to work together to make this work..that just appears to be the business side of this game..I don't know if any one company can afford the early losses it takes be successful like the UFC ..and the Fertita brothers almost called it quits when they were down like 40 million early on...It would take major financial backing for 1 company to even attempt to make it alone,,,The fighter rosters just aren't deep enough,,,Like Affliction,,even with probably the number 1 fighter in the world on their roster,,there are rumors that this may be their last show coming up,,,especially with this being the last fight on Fedors contract,,,and one of their other big fighters ...Andre Arlovski getting ko'd in the last Strikeforce event doesn't help them either..

I'd think they would maintain some sort of working releationship,,unless it ended badly,,, A few months back it sounded like KOTC would be a major part of ProE...now all of a sudden things have changed,,,wonder what?...so there is a chance that things ended badly from one side,,and maybe we won't be with KOTC...

maybe ,, maybe not on this one,,

Either way ,,,I think they are staying public and getting this company cleaned up for a reason,,,they could have just abandoned ship a while ago and sorted all this out on their own without having to worry about reporting to shareholders etc...but they continue being public and issuing press releases and filings...Hopefully we get a filing next week with more meat and potatoes as to what happend and what is going on further...
