I once was at a wedding where the Pastor used that in the sermon. He said a marriage is like a garden, It must be tended to every day. It must be watered and nourished. As soon as the smallest of weeds crop up, they must be plucked. For if the garden is not cared for, the weeds will soon be too many and they will grow up and choke the good plants.
