but you sure aren't equipped with the right facts to argue this one:

Why you can't understand simple high-school math is beyond me.
See my post from last night.

By the way, just so that you're aware of this really important
limitation of NX: if you disconnect the power from your computer
NX will fail to keep your computer running.

If you hit your computer with axe enough times, NX will fail to
keep your computer running.

wbmw, oh come on! This line of argument is (or should be) below you:

Wow, NX busted just days after the SP2 release. Like I said, it's a hack, not a solution.

NX does not stop all viruses, it was never intended to stop all viruses. It does stop one class of viruses which is particularly widespread and particularly sneaky. Of course anyone can make a virus that does not utilize the trick that NX does (quite effectively) stop!

Your argument is similar to one someone tried on me many years ago to argue against seat belts: What if I go off a bridge and into the river? Seat belts would make it harder to get out and effectively trap me in the car!

Seat belts also give no protection against a side impact, and may cause more harm as the rider is pinned against the imploding metal. Should we all stop wearing seat belts? Now, just because one can contrive a situation where seat belts are a negative certainly does not mean that they do not save literally thousands of lives every year!

Just as NX will protect thousands of computers every year, soon to be millions.

You're all bark and no bite. You show NO proof that NX is "busted." There is no buffer-overflow exploit in shruggle, it is a peice of malicious code, plain and simple.
