As to my assertion that many liberals seem to be slow to question obama's positions in terms of their place in the political spectrum... well i said MANY and didn't say ALL. If you wish to parse the phrase, sure, you can find links to annoyed liberals. There are even some who think he is not doing all he can for gay rights, and they worked hard for him. (i use the word "hard" in a context that may possibly offend your filth-o-meter, but i take that risk in a first amendment leap of hope)
The fact that you called your senator twice per day during the Bush administration to complain, or somehow identified with those that did so, certainly earns you a merit badge.
However, your paragraph seems a little hollow when you take your history of posts in consideration... not much pragmatism about mr. obama on the zeev's board. Folks there tend to be either on one team or the other, and any actual discussion is driven into the ground like a tent peg into softened earth after a rainstorm. And i use the word "peg" lightly, as she is the main pom pom hater of history, which is ironic since she is the only "lib" i know that actually voted for Bush and is now somehow working off her negative karma daily by doing penance against the "Decider".
Obama is the only chance we have to swing the pendulum back after the last cretinous administration, but politics is a process and no one can meet all constituents' needs.. so blind following of his stuff seems the norm among chat board posters over on the pay boards, and your posting of an anecdotal link to the contrary doesn't even rise to the level of bipolar asymmetry.
Your admission that you read mostly all liberal websites is sort of like saying you perform mental masturbation in a political context. (and not oral, for gawdsakes, i read your pain) Reading only people you agree with is sort of like watching FOX by masochistic liberals, which i have never done due a cruel trick of topography that blocks that channel from reaching my eyes.
However, i am sure i have torqued you off by now, and hope that you make more posts that are your personal feelings and ideas, and not just cut and pastes from itinerant bloggers.
you are such a thoughtful poster that sometimes i wonder why you use other's words to express your ideas most of the time. I don't even disagree with many of your opinions, it is just that sometimes i don't understand them as i am not sure if you condone the views of what you post via other's words at various times.
