What you are referring to is whether it posts as a sell or a buy and that depends on whether the purchaser meets the ask or if the seller meets the purchasers bid...

ur wrong, if one buys shares on the bid and then for example looks at the buys/sells here on i-hub it shows as a sell. Mine always do, I dont know what you are looking at?

a trade is posted as buy or sell depending on whether its execited at the bid or ask.
it has to be bought if its sold.
