Good Sunday Morning, Calfire and Mates!
Great to wake up to read a string of posts from the most respected investors posting here this year. I especially appreciate the absence today of drama, sensationalism and maliciousness displayed this week by other posters overcome by greed wanting to generate anger and capitalise on fear to try to "reload the boat with cheapies".
I am "happy" that the "checklist" of what needs to happen for the company to gain status and recognition in the market has finally seen a big tick off of the 10K. I agree with you that EI Management appears to have been benevolent to themselves and company in funding expenses and most importantly that they can have the opportunity to be more conservative and put as many $$$ as possible to leaning the SS and allowing investors better value for shares purchased.
Like the group this morning, I have faith that the idea , plan and potential for EI's branded products to become realised in the industry is happening and that now we are settling after an initial landing bump (a landing hard enough to have to be "written up") and are still very much under control by the pilot-in-command.
Did we experience the bump because he sat his altimeter incorrectly to the reading at the arrival airport, or their reading was incorrect, and he thought he was closer to the runway near touchdown than he was??? Dunno yet.
I have faith that when he sensed the "bounce", he IMMEDIATELY applied a burst of power while lowering then raising the nose and is now "mushing" back in ground effect in a gentle settling back to a soft landing. I expect to experience confirmation of this on Monday with another significant release of information from EI and applause from us "passengers", manifested in a healthy green close.
I appreciate the character and confidence displayed in contributions to the board by investors like Heppie who have many years of experience in the funeral industry. I like your smooth and concise writing, Calfire, explaining to simple people like me your oppinion and ideas and suggestions about what EI needs to do to fly flawlessly in the future.
Thanks for your time, mates.
