Good points. It's true that for the most part oil prices have had very little effect on the market, with a couple of noticable exceptions. A couple of days when oil reached new highs and the markets all tanked, which was to be expected, then the shock wore off and we went back to business as usual.
It's still surprising to me to see where Delta Air Lines is trading at, though. Not too long ago it was considered a 'blue chip' so to speak.
