turns out Vortex2 has bagged one, in Wyoming -- caught the one legitimate tornadic supercell in the country that day (last Friday) -- well done!
(even as yesterday was yet another complete bust, forecast did not verify -- actually quite typical for this far into June -- atmosphere goes 'soft' compared to the peak of the violent tornado season from mid-April to mid-May -- winds aren't as strong, temperatures aloft not as cool/cold, boundaries surface and aloft not as sharp or dynamic)
now if only that Mike f'n Bettes had some f'n clue what the f%$# he was talking about (. . .):
